Only 4 days left of driving around in style *pout*

I’m feeling a little silly right now because of the whole keyless entry thing and leaving the “key” in your hand bag and never needing to dig it out. I originally THOUGHT that the car locks automatically after I walk away from it but it didn’t. So I was grabbing the “key” and clicking on lock. I only found out after reading a comment from one of the other Ford Mondeo Mamas that the little black button on the outside door handles is a lock! Yes, I feel REALLY silly! It would have been so much better if the salesman had mentioned this to me when we first picked up the car. Funnily enough I did spend sometime reading through the car manual but I must have missed that bit. So it IS true that once that little plastic key thing is in the bottom of your handbag, you don’t need to get it out again!

I know that I have praising all the nifty features of the Ford Mondeo, but I’ve found a couple things that I find a little annoying. But it could be just me so don’t blame the car, k?

The connection for the iphone/ipod. I would have preferred the connection to be in a more accessible spot, than having to lean over from the driver’s seat to the glove compartment. But that’s just me.

The back seat. With the car seat in the middle of the back seat, whoever was sitting in the seat behind the front passenger seat always had trouble trying to plug their seatbelt in.

The cup holders. Not that it’s majorly important but two coffee cups don’t fit in them nicely so I would be worried that the drinks would spill because they don’t sit right.

I’m chuckling a bit because here I am talking about these few things that I don’t 100% like and in 4 days time, I’ll be back driving my 15 year old van!

My Prius has the same thing with the key and it's REALLY great when you've just had your nails done . No getting your keys out of your bag and into the ignition means no damaged nails before the polish dries .
