Because you can take the crappiest, mundane photos using your iPhone, add a filter to it and make it a cool photo!

Instagram is one of the best free photo apps I've come across. Although making a load of washing look good could be a bit of a stretch ;)

I love it too. I think I have used it for most of my pic a day photos this year.

And you're right, it can make anything look cool!
