Bill and I drove into Wollongong last week to have lunch. Whenever we head in there, we always go by the beach and this time was no different.
I’ve also noticed that I always take a photo of at least one of the lighthouses. It wasn’t until I was looking through some of the photos I have saved on my laptop, that I realised just how many photos I have taken of them.
As a kid, I used to daydream about what it would be like to live in one – kinda like that tv show “Round The Twist”, except without the weird stuff.
So this week, I collected some pretty lighthouse images for you to enjoy too.

I loved that show Round the Twist when I was a kid, even with the weird stuff
Love lighthouses and your pictures. We have been on many holidays where we seek out the lighthouse tours – love the history of some of them and of course the views!

There’s always something terrifying about that famous lighthouse picture with the keeper standing on the deck and those huge waves crashing around him. Makes me shudder just thinking about it. Thanks for hosting Tina.

Some lovely pins there. I do love a red and white lighthouse. PS glad I’m not the only one that thought round the twist was a little too weird!

every time you post pics of the Gong, it just looks so beautiful!! we’re over in NSW in May and will be driving back up to Sydney airport through the Gong, so will be seeing it for ourselves finally – can’t wait!!

Love the images Tina. And I think lighthouses have this certain mysterious attraction. The fact that a lone building is used to help guide so many boats and ship…and yet managing to look beautiful set on a small hill of rocks.
