I dream of the day that I can convert one of the spare rooms into a studio.
The problem with this is that we don’t have any spare rooms. And won’t for quite a while. Until two more kids grow up and move out. Heh.
But that doesn’t stop me from sitting in my little corner of the living room, and dreaming of that perfect space.
I think I would be SO much more productive if I have a pretty space to work in – with a door – that locks.
Come, daydream with me….

I love the wall in the photo above. I’m all for having an inspiration/mood board so this is something that I will definitely be adding to my space.

The long desk. The drawers. And being able to look out the window. Love.

This desk above caught my eye because it is SO tidy. My desk sometimes looks like that. But then I start working.

The cubed unit. Storage is scarce in Chez Gray so I tend to drool a little over storage.

Those shelves up high. I love those!
And lastly, the blue of those walls. And the white furniture. I could definitely work in a room like that.

Welcome to another edition of Piquing my Pinterest – a weekly Pinterest link up where Pinterest {hearters} share some of the things they have been pinning on their virtual pinboards.
I don’t like to enforce rules so these are just…guidelines….
- Blog about your favourite pins from the past week. They can be random pins or themed. Totally up to you. Sometimes mine are themed. Sometimes they are totally random.
- Grab the button (from my sidebar) and add it to your post and/or your sidebar. Because it’s good karma. A little link love didn’t hurt anyone
- Add your blog link to the linky below – so other Pinners can come visit you.
- Visit some of the other links and give some comment love.
Happy Pinning!

I love the blue office space, so bright and fresh and those shelfs are to die for. What I would give to have more storage

LOVE those office spaces
I have just given up my office space & moved my desk into the living area. I love some of the ideas in the pics you’ve used, especially the enormous pinboard.

I dream of my own space too! At the moment most of my work is done on either the couch or dining table. I would love a study!

You and I are on the same wavelength this week Tina. I don’t have the space either for a spare room to be converted into my space. I’m on the look out for an old writing bureau or secretaire. A beautiful and functional piece of furniture. Just the right size for my bits and pieces and laptop. Thanks for hosting!

Gorgeous settings…. I was thinking that the chairs don’t look very ergonomically sound though!
I suspect it’s hard to make a proper desk chair look attractive! I had a funky leather one from Freedom a couple of years ago and the bloody thing looked great but was as uncomfortable as buggery!
Now I have a less attractive black softer thing from Office Works.

They all look so pretty! Im lucky in that I do have my own office in the house BUT as I type the Hubby is in here re-building a computer in my lady cave
And my son continues to follow me in here, so until I put a lock on it, it’s not really my space is it?!
Some very gorgeous work spaces there. They are all very productive looking. At the moment I am more of the trying to type while two small boys compete for my lap, while my four year old keeps up a constant stream of questions.

These are very nice examples for a creative workspace. And I totally agree, your workspace could affect the efficiency of your work. That’s why I have designed a corner in our living room for working since I work from home.
