I thought I would share with you what I have decided to do to help me stay on track on my weight loss journey.
I have started a SMASH book specifically to track my weight loss and fill with it not only the all important stats and progress photos, but also pages of inspiration and a space where I can journal how I am feeling and what’s going on in my head. I tried doing this as a regular feature here on TGDM but it didn’t work out so well.
So, I decided to use the K & Company Smash Couture Folio for no other reason that some of the pages are pretty and the last page is very fitting to a weight loss journey.
On the very first page, I called myself a loser. In the most nicest way possible. The letters, papers, twine and tag were all purchased from Kmart. The Smash flag clip was a Scrapbook Savvy purchase.
My plan for this weight loss SMASH* book is for it to be a book that I can refer to as inspiration during my weight loss journey, with quotes, information I have printed out from the Interwebz, journalling from myself, progress photos, a place to record stats, and anything else that will help me get through.
If you haven’t read The Body Pledge, you should.
Some of the pages in the SMASH* book are too pretty to cover up, so I leave them as they are but then there are other pages that I either cut in half, or cover them with my smashing.
There are a lot of blank pages for me to play with, but at the back of the book, I have sectioned off a few pages into the amount of weeks I have given myself to reach my goal weight.
This section is where I’ll be adding stats, journalling bits, food diary entries, etc.
And the last page – appropriate, no? Hehe.
And because I’m being positive, I have prepared the final, final page. All that is to go in there is the new Tina
Are you SMASH* booking yet? What do you think of my way of making a long, tedious weight loss journey a little more creative and fun?
